After acquiring this book last fall, I have spent the winter checking off the areas featured in the book. The areas featured have been well worth the hike and a lot of fun. A few of my favorite locations are Bulge Hole Cave, Max Creek Vortex and Schwegman Ecological Area. My father Dr. Robert Mohlenbrock a botanist has enjoyed this book as well. Someone who can no longer hike, he has enjoyed being taken to these areas through the pictures and the write up.
We both have been thoroughly impressed.
